Matthew accepted to paint my front and garage doors at short notice in October when others had refused because of cold weather. He came and worked through the day, sanding and painting the frames, sanding and painting the doors and even adding a lick of varnish to my front step. Knocked a star off just because the oil paint on the inside of the frames didn’t quite dry properly, although it’s still OK. Overall, I’m very happy.

Couldn’t recommend Ben enough, very reasonable pricing and good finish on the work. Very upfront at the start on costs/completion times etc. Will be using again for other similar work I have.

Repaired garage roof. Applied base coat paint to existing worn felt to rain the water proof. Then applied a user layer of felt follow by a top coat of mineral felt. Good neat job, reasonable price and help advice given. Would recommend.

Martin did a brilliant job, friends and family have commented on what a lovely finish and it is like walking into a newly built living room. I would recommend Martin to anyone who needs a little job doing to their full home, as ultimately he will be doing mine

Efficient, reliable & experienced. Sorted out problem we had with unsuitable structural plans with our engineer and cleared work with building inspector no hassle for us as the customer whatsoever. did a great job at a good price.

What can I say? I was slightly sceptical and didn’t expect too much but I was very much mistaken. The service we received from these guys was A1. From entering the details onto the website I was contacted via email and text message within minutes. I was then contacted, within 15 minutes , by Ideal roofing and building to make an appointment for the very next morning. Two very friendly guys arrived as scheduled, did an outstanding job at a very reasonable price. The whole experience was actually a pleasure. Friendly, prompt, professional and reasonably priced. Gordon was fantastic, wanted a few pictures and mirrors putting up, did a great job. He did put the mirror up not how I wanted but I text him to tell him this and he text straight back to arrange a date when he could come back to correct it. Would definitely recommend . Very reliable and great value for money.
