Punctual. Returns calls promptly. A thorough job done (rectifying squeaky floorboards). Clean and tidy. Very good value. Mr Gill does design work, carpentry and joinery, bathrooms and kitchens (including tiling). I would definitely use him again and will ask him to quote for an en suite refurbishment in the future.

as mentioned in my previous comment but not elaborated on ,the ' problem ' was blistering of the plaster that was already evident before the decorating started.

Chris has done several jobs for me, including underfloor heating and tiling the floor in my new conservatory and re-modelling my tiny en-suite bathroom, which now feels much bigger. His work is of a high standard and he makes sure everything is clean and tidy at the end of each day. Chris honest and reliable, gives sound advice and his prices are fair. Great guys, very honest and reliable, hard working and tidy. Flexible to suit the job. Couple of quite slow days to begin with while they worked out best approach to the job, but they sorted problems rapidly thereafter, spoke to us daily about what they we're up to and plans for days ahead and kept to the quote they provided, even though there was in the end quite a lot more work than they were expecting! Really very happy with end result, will happily recommend them and use again in future!

I am self employed tradesman qualified in carpentry, who also has a HNC in construction. I work for both builders and direct for clients carrying out general first and second fix carpentry as well as a few general building tasks. I work closely with a few other trades so if the job requires more than one trade then I am happy to sub let out to more qualified personnel.
