He replied to messages quickly, turned up when he said he would, and was correct that our tree had in fact died. I am also extremely capable at doing many manual labour jobs, but often favour a shorter timeline for my clients project completion and therefore prefer to draft in experienced trades to get the job completed. Tom was not hired on this occasion for my posted job. I tried to remove/close the job post, but a glitch means I can not do so. I can only place a rating. It would be unfair to rate Tom as anything less than 5 stars as he did communicate a quote but wanted 50% up front. If I had not found a tradesman with immediate availability, it may well have worked out differently.

Excellent job from Joe and Andreas! They were very prompt, reliable and Joe advised if they were going to be delayed. Unlike a few other trades people I contacted for quotes who either did not respond or didnt keep the appointments we made. Joe and Andreas were able to do the work the very next day, their quote was a very reasonable price for the work and they were clean, tidy and very quick workers. Tom did an absolutely wonderful job of clearing my incredibly overgrown garden. He arrived on time, worked like a Trojan, took all the garden waste away, and left me with a garden I can sit in with a glass of wine, instead of drawing the blinds so I can't see it! Tom is now going to maintain the garden on a regular basis, and I would recommend him highly to anyone needing a garden tamed!
