George and his team are experienced builders, replaced my front door with a custom frame/sidelights and raising the floor level in the hallway quite quickly - in fact, they were the only who came next day, gave a quote straightaway and were ready to start in just couple of days. The two guys responded quickly to my request. Turned up when they said they would. They were very friendly and did an excellent job of rehanging a period door that had come away from the door frame that need cutting out and replacing sections of timber - all at a very reasonable price. Would thoroughly recommend.
We couldn't recommend Chris & Ronnie (Thistle Dhu Fine) enough. Not only was the job (building a mezzanine bed with cupboards & shelving, & fitting a hardwood floor in our box room) done to a beautifully high standard (way surpassing our expectations), but they were excellent communicators - keeping in touch & sending us pics throughout the build; fast working & punctual; tidy, respectful, courteous & polite; + super reasonable. Turned up promptly and explained what they were going to do. They came back the following day when they realised some of the work was not quite right. The work was done to a high standard and I would not hesitate to use them again.
The decking was installed in a very professional manner and to a very good standard. Work was carried out on time. I would recommend for this type of work. Work site was kept and left in a good tidy state.
