Required a bit of an awkward shaped worktop to be installed.Two successive joiners from Rated People agreed to conduct the works but both frequently kept cancelling,turning up late and not responding to calls/texts. I went back to the website a third time and found Alasdair who agreed to the job.Unlike the other two companies,he turned on time and didn't let me down. I'm extremely happy with the standard of workmanship,especially as the job was quite complex and challenging. I would certainly recommend him
A M Contracts did an excellent job of dismantling the wall cleaning the bricks and then rebuilding the wall. Despite disruption caused by the weather I could not fault the the work carried out. We are all really pleased with the rebuilt wall. A number of people have already said what a good job.

He and his colleague came at the agreed time, assessed the jobs and negotiated a reasonable price for the list of small jobs I had. I enjoyed the added bonus of them being able to do the work the same day that we negotiated the price. I found them to be courteous, tidy and very efficient. Even when one door proved difficult (leading to the job taking longer than he thought and eating into his weekend) he took great care with his work and didn't finish until he was completely happy with it.
