Arkle was excellent. We had the entire bathroom replaced and the final result is beautiful. Arkle gave a very reasonable quote and worked very hard to make sure the job was completed before the birth of our baby. Friendly, polite and professional, I can't recommend him highly enough.

Greg built a front wall and laid paving in my front and back garden. He did a really good job, and it looks great. He was reliable, tidy, and really clear on things like costs and how the slabs would be laid so I knew exactly what I was getting. Would definitely recommend him to anyone wanting brickwork or paving/landscaping.

Nick and his partner were a real pleasure to deal with. Nick came up with a great design for the bookcase we wanted for our cafe and was more than willing to work late into the evenings to get the job done out of opening hours. The workmanship and finished results were second to none and the shelving is getting a lot of praise from our customers, some who want the same thing built in their homes! I would highly recommend N J Carpentry to anyone looking for high quality carpentry work at reasonable prices.

From calling to arriving was within a few days. The blown light transformers were fixed very quickly. It took a few weeks before paperwork for the electrical safety arrived. But everything we asked for was done.

As I'm now based in NZ, Carl tended to my front and back garden in Hertfordshire to keep it looking good while the property is on the market. Craig did a fantastic job of skimming the ceilings of 6 rooms of our home at the end of 2021. The finish was excellent, he turned up when he said he would, he was flexible when we needed to move the date, he took care to minimise the mess and the price was competitive. Imer recently helped me remove old kitchen cabinets and a light rail and install new ones. He was super professional throughout the whole project, promptly responded to all my emails / texts and went above and beyond to make sure the job was to a high standard. I was a little hesitant because he doesn't have too many reviews (he explained most of his work comes from word of mouth), but I'm SO GLAD I DID. Will definitely call him for my next project!
