Matthew overcharged for materials. He told me he paid £40 at Screwfix for the spikes. I was shocked and asked for a copy of the receipt but he didn't provide it. I did pay him in cash for the work then checked the price at Screwfix. The cost is £29.99 not £40. As a result, I cannot recommend him.

Some of the work was good like the trimming of the shrub and bushes. The weeding was hopeless as they have not been pulled up by the roots and some of it was not touched at all. Some of my plants were trampled on and the rose stems forcefully pushed through the obelisk were broken in their hurry to finish by five. I don't think they had any intention of returning as I was not pleased with their weeding work which was the main aspect of their work_ to get the ground ready for planting. The work has been left

A difficult job in a very old building. Plenty of communication prior to fitting of non-standard door and frame. Work carried-out to instructions. Will use again. Highly recommended.

Honest (pointed out when I wrote a cheque that would have overpaid), good value for money, occasionally a little tricky to get hold of as he lives out of mobile reception. The work is all good, shower is lovely, and the smaller other jobs that we asked him to do were all done just as well as the main one.

Paul has been a fabulous help to both us and my mum’s house/ garden. He has listened to our requirements, offered sound advice and always highlighted cost effective options. He has undertaken cement work, fencing, power washing, garden maintenance at all levels plus many other jobs to secure ‘winterise’ our homes and gardens. Cannot rate this tradesman as he hurt his back before starting and could not do the job. However, he was very efficient in making sure we knew he could not start and apologetic.
