Gareth, the proprietor of GMS is a qualified wood machinist by trade and has over 25 years’ experience working within the construction industry. Gareth first started the business in 2005 with a view to provide clients across North Wales and Cheshire with kitchens. In the last 10 years the business has diversified and now accommodates a scheme of works within construction from kitchens to bathrooms, gardens to bedrooms, fire and flood damaged properties and more. Paul and Dave did a great job. My garden was in such a mess!! Weeding was done, ivy growing around walls cut back. Worst job of all was the roots of a conifer growing under slabs. They lifted up slabs digging up and cutting back heavy roots. Slabs, including 3 further slabs were relaid. Added to that lawns were neatly cut. They tidied up after work was completed. Excellent work done in a professional way. 11/10 I would definitely recommend them to anyone needing work done

BE WARNED! OK plasterer, APPALLING BUILDER. Put rubber roof on when wet, so now roof is blistering/bubbling. Tried to use piece of aluminum and wood to hold up roof--told by builder inspector he needed lintel. Lied to us, ignored inspector & tried to carry on using aluminum. Tired to get us to pay for insulation included in the quote. Got angry when we asked him not to smoke in our house. Three weeks after said work would be done (and with no changes to original job), walked off job without work completed.

Its sometimes hard to find a builder who you can feel you can trust as you hear so many bad stories. So I'm happy to help any future customers of Gregory tick that box when they are considering using him. Simply put, hes an honest guy. Not once did he try to pull the wool over my eyes and operated with complete transparency. No build goes without a few hitches and mine was no exception, but when we had problems they were quickly overcome. When we did fall a little behind schedule effort was doubled and his team put in 10 our shifts and worked weekends to get back on track, at no extra cost to me. If you are looking for a tradesman that puts in the ours and at a competitive price then you would do well to ask him to quote.
