Hi, welcome to my Rated People page. M name is Phillip Holsgrove I have over 30 years experience working in the building industry. Initially I was employed in the family business where i had the opportunity to learn the skills needed to build and renovate properties including brickwork, plastering, decorating and carpentry. .Woodwork has always been a passion of mine along with an interest in art, craft and design. With this in mind I studied Furniture Make and Design at Rycotewood Furniture School in Oxford as a mature student where I was able to develop my design and woodworking skills to a higher level. Attention to detail and working to a high standard are important to me. Equally important is a professional attitude and the ability to communicate effectively with the client to ensure customer satisfaction. I am able to take on larger projects if required and employ other trades if necessary.

I didn't actually give the job to Smart Construction; but Aaron visited to inspect the job, and was extremely helpful, personable, and business like; he also did some research to work out the structure of my property. We were very happy with the work done by Dan and his team at Akoni Construction. I had a 20m2 porcelain patio laid which looks fantastic. It is evident that they have taken time and care over the work completed. They also had the expertise for a second job I added to pebbledash a wall on our rear extension, which now matches the rest of the house perfectly. Very clear communication throughout the job and completed very promptly. I would absolutely use them again. Many thanks for your work
