Harry came and assessed the job and we agreed a price. Came one day later to start job due to previous job overrunning. Commenced work of taking gutters down then said he would need an extra £1500 for drip trays and I refused and Harry said well how much can you pay? We eventually settled on £750 . Work appears to be of good standard and the lads were very polite. But not happy I was asked to pay extra and think job hadn’t been assessed properly. When asked to pay Harry not keen on Credit card option.

Victor and his team did a great job with fitting the electrics in the kitchen and plasterboarding the kitchen. They left the place clean and was reasonable with the price. I will certainly use them again.

He came to my house around 2.00pm.he wanted to finish work in the same day.he didn’t finish the job.took £4.75 and promised to come next day to clean the gutters but didn’t come He removed my exhaust fan cover and didn’t come next day. He is not taking my phone calls I will give him 0 star

Quoted by e-mail and arrived as promised. Allan & assistants completed the job to a v.good standard. All moss build up removed and roof treated. They were also thorough in leaving the area clean & tidy afterwards. Quote rated as average for this type of work. I have no hesitation in recommending McNicol to other homeowners.

Alton Services built a 2-storey extension for us and we were so delighted with their work they went on to refurbish our bathroom, completely refurbish my mother's new home and build a conservatory. Adrian is unfortunately a very dishonest and unreliable person. He viewed the job, agreed the price, took a whole day to board a small ceiling and start one of the 5 door linings. i trusted and paid the lion share of the job, wrong decision i guess, as this is what followed, he assured me he would come back the following Saturday, but then the excuses started to flow, my boss has asked me to work, its my anniversary etc... No show on the next Sat either, has blocked my number also? AVOID at all costs

Liam came to sort my leaking roof on 1/11/19. Claimed there was more loose tiles on roof and charged me extra to put all of them in place- no pictures provided to prove this, like what other roofers do. Didn’t give me a receipt and promised to email this together with a 5 year guarantee he promised me for paying xtra. He ignored my texts and has now blocked my number. I’d never use him again and not I’m not even sure he even fixed the leak. Unprofessional, disgusting and don’t recommend. Wasted my £200.

Do not use . Damaged roof and quote went from £250 to £6500 . Said insurance wouldn’t cover damage they created . Turned nasty, police involved . Also trade under Advance Roofing, claimed also on check a trade . They are NOT that company
