Floor Tiling
DS Services laid the tiles in my flat on 21/22 July 2011. The old tiles were removed by myself and the floor was cleaned prior to laying the tiles. I would have liked the complete floor to have been tiled but they would not do so. Some of the tiles are not level. Tiles should be level, it is not good work. They always seemed to be in a hurry and said they did not have time and indicated that they hated the company who supplied the tiles.

The customer and her son chose to tile the floor to the kitchen units because it would save on tiles. I would have advised to tile the whole floor as it would have been much easier (less cuts). On several occasions we worked till 6 or 7 o'clock and gave the customer lifts to pick up goods in our own time and also helped sort a kitchen order for her. We have an e-mail from the customer saying she was very happy and the kitchen work was done to a high standard. She was very happy with the tiling when we left. With reference to the customer supplied tiles - the dimension of some tiles was smaller than the others (bad quality). This was pointed out and one particularly bad box was put aside and not used.
