This person, Ben Brown, did not finish the job professionally, was quick to scarper with £50 cash for 2 hrs work though and asked for feedback. Had suspicions immediately & confirmed over time. He lied about roofing felt, saying it would adhere with sun's heat, it did not & came adrift leaving wooden roof exposed to water. There were other issues too. He has refused to rectify his shoddy workmanship & refused to even come & look. STRONGLY ADVISE DO NOT EMPLOY THIS PERSON

Please look at the original comment made please the customer contacted me after 18 month which has had storm Damage which is no fault of my own I never said would adhere with sun not sure where this has come from the customer had been contacting me about doing other jobs so if wasn't happy with work wouldn't be asking me to do more and for the £50 and 2 hours is nonsense took half day and the customer asked if I can do it for £50

Wow this person is so untrustworthy & unprofessional. A professional roofer has advised me that roofing felt should always be adhered with a heat gun. Ben Brown of ABI said he hadn't stuck it down because the sun would heat it and make it stick! then scarpered. It came loose because it wasn't stuck down in the 1st place not because of any storm. He hasn't even offered to come and take a look. Before I realised how unprofessional he was I referred my neighbour who wanted a shed doing -he did not even reply

This person said would contact me and Never did

I got 2 calls from this chap with different excuses the last being his child was in hospital.HE stated he would contact me and never did. I have since paid a reputable joiner £175 for the work.
Wooden Doors - Internal
Day 1- rings to say he has gone to shop to find he needed to order doors! Day 2- another excuse not to turn up. Finally turns up a month later still not with the doors. I paid him half the money assuming he would come back to fit the doors (the doors were more than half the value of the job) as arranged. Two months later, no doors, i'm out of pocket and his customer service is appalling. I would would not recommend if you want the job to be completed and you don't want to feel like you have been robbed.

Not true at all if any thing I'm out of pocket after I bought your materials and worked for day made £30 you plus did more than quoted puttin new latchs and handles on all doors in house
Internal Painting & Decorating
Started off ok, took longer than stated, missed alot of parts of painting celing & walls, had an unfinished room but was charging more to do it. Rushed doing the job to get paint done as i needed to get carpets fitted, was really bad doing finishing touches and didn't clean up after. Wasn't worth the money, would reccomend a tradesman who charge more but get the job right. Don't go for cheap tradesman there not reliable.
