Stuart responded promptly and arrived to inspect the property. From the start, I was struck by his calm and confidence, especially for a job that had left other contractors scratching their heads or quoting exorbitant prices due to the challenging access. His pricing was both fair and transparent. Evaluating and executing the job was in no way easy but Stuart and his team showed up daily, always polite and cheerful, even during difficult personal or working circumstances.

Stuart and his team have done a fantastic job laying our patio. He contacted us promptly and gave us an estimate on the spot, followed by a quote over email once details were agreed. He also provided us with advice, which we found very useful, as we were unsure of certain things. We all had to be a bit flexible due to delivery times of materials and holidays, but it was very easy to plan for things with them. Stuart was very communicative, and he and his team were very polite and respectful.

Whilst we were happy with the patio laying job, their proposed solution of putting the old crushed slabs at the bottom of the garden against the existing fence to raise the level of the ground and cover them with soil is now causing issues with the fence. They indicated it wouldn't and that what they did would actually help keep the ground well in place, but now we'll have to expend a good amount of money to get this rectified, as all the rubble has to be removed and special machinery is required.

Stuart has been in touch really promptly to discuss the issue and see if they can offer a solution. I’m keeping the rating at three stars for now and will update once they come over to check and an agreement is reached regarding what can be done.

Although Stuart got in touch promptly after seeing the review, he never got back in touch to actually come over. This was over two months ago now.
