Laminate Flooring

Adam is a very pleasant family man and did a good job fitting the underlay, laminate flooring and beading. We are happy with the standard of workmanship and are having him back to fit a couple more floors of corridor/landings. He was clean and tidy and bagged up all offcuts etc. Would recommend him.

  We had Adam back to laminate a couple of corridors which have several doorways and step ups to different levels with step noses required, so quite complicated. He did a great job overall cutting under door posts to fit the laminate and the stair noses look fantastic. Very pleased with a great standard.

Chose AFS to lay laminate flooring and skirting to my through Lounge, Adam was very professional, pleasant and helpful, he completed the job very efficiently and to an excellent level, making sure he consulted us on any issues he also managed to match up new floor with an older job, which other traders were reluctant to take on, overall an excellent job at a reasonable price. Adam did a poor job installing our herringbone floor, leaving gaps between boards, uneven underlay and visible glue. Despite fixing some issues initially, the floor deteriorated further within months, with widening gaps and trim coming off completely. He took twice the estimated time, constant complications, overall very sloppy, and now ignoring our requests for further repairs. Now we're facing the costly prospect of redoing the entire floor. We regret hiring Adam and sadly cannot recommend his services
