Flat Roof - Installation / Repair
I had a few quotes for renewing a flat roof on a side extension to my property. Chris quoted around 20% cheaper for GRP than the equivalent quotes I had for three-layer felt. Given that GRP is a much better product than felt this was an easy decision to make. Glass-reinforced-plastic (GRP) is basically what they use to make the hull of modern boats. It's effectively like having an upturned boat on the top of your roof - and how often do you hear of boats leaking? Anyone going for any other product on a flat roof these days is just asking for trouble. For me, the mark of a good tradesman is not necessarily how good they do they job but how readily they come back to fix any problems *after* they have got your money. Too many people give you a guarantee that isn’t worth the paper it’s written on if you can never get in touch with them again or get them to come back. I had a couple of little teething troubles with the new roof guttering, but Chris came back and sorted them out quickly. Great. Total score 4.5 stars simply because I couldn’t possibly give anyone five stars – there’s always something that can be done a little better.

Can't leave a review because it keeps getting deleted. What a waste of time.
