This job was a complete and complicated rewire of a large old farmhouse, including various extras such as security alarm, boiler and underfloor heating controls and renovating an old Victorian lantern. Chris has done an excellent job, and even though it turned out to be more awkward than he expected (beams in unusual places, ceilings that came down, boiler wiring being non-standard etc) he honoured the original quote and took the time to make sure it was done properly. The standard of work is very good and Chris perseveres with jobs until he is satisfied with the result. An example is the great care he took with the positioning of the kitchen lights. I have no hesitation in recommending him to others.
External Lighting
Chris was chosen for a number of reasons - mainly previous ratings which showed experience, reliability, coming in on price. Have to say Chris was very efficient, turned up when he said he would, was very thorough in assessing the job, asked questions no one else did, and (probably as a result of asking the right questions) was the most competetive. Thoroughly recommended. This is my first experience of using this website and have to say it have proved invaluable - I would not have found CHL without it.

Phoned & came out,day after posting job on this site. It was a Sunday,so even better service. Polite,friendly,tidy & methodical. Quoted price & fixed unit later same day.Althought job took longer than we expected,price was the same,no extra by-the-hour costs.( We are just awaiting the electricity suppliers to approve,make an appointment ! ) - Otherwise all power back on and all sockets,lights working.THANK YOU
