Chris went beyond the call of duty to fit my blinds as my walls weren,t straight !! He didn,t leave until he worked out a more than satisfactory solution to the problem !! I would recommend Chris with no hestitation !!

Wooden Doors - Internal
Chris of CJR Carpentry met me on time as agreed and assessed the work to be done. He did the necessary work there and then for a very reasonable price. The job was done quickly and professionally to a very high standard and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him and also to use him again if the need arose. Thanks Chris great job!!
Internal Painting & Decorating
Chris set price for 2 jobs. He started on the agreed day but then called in sick. After that the work was very slow and took longer than expected. Delay meant that ceiling not finished on time and agreed he would come back two weeks later to finish ceiling and paint walls. I paid the cost agreed for ceiling. He called in sick on first day back later he texted to say he won't do second job. He promised to finish paid for job. No response to my texts. Very unhappy, I found him messy and wholly unreliable

The reason for this poor rating is I injured my knee and couldn't go back to complete the work. I only charged for the work carried out, I agree I did say I would go back to complete but was unable to due to the severity of my knee injury. Tried to explain this at the time but didn't get a good response.

Actually charged for finishing the ceiling which he did not do. Did not advise me he would not be back just did not reply to any texts. Knee injury was first week which he did come back after, then said he was sick and said he would come back a few weeks later. Never heard from him again. I was nothing but polite and sympathetic
