Turned up on time, fully explained what needed to be done. Fixed really quickly. Friendly and helpful service. Will use again.
Guttering and Rainwater Pipe
Do not hire. Agreed a price for painting ours and our next door neighbours house. Has walked off the job by sending a text today with no explanation after 2 days work. He didn't bother showing up on tues!! He has left our house with just one coat of paint on it and hasn't even started my neighbours. Kept moaning about how bad next doors job was going be, and that's why I think he's walked. LAZY!

We completed the repairs to the guttering and the customer gave a £20 tip! The customer at a later stage asked if we could do further work for them which I agreed to do. The customer got a good job done however he continued to ask for extra work to be done ie: He wanted the sky dish taking down which was an after thought..the bracket and cables would have left alot of re painting to do that he did not want to pay for. We left a nice job and never CHARGED HIM FOR IT...We dont need this type of customer..
Conservatory
Asked to fix 2 leaks in a conservatory, a window & roof. He also said he could fix the conservatory door. Managed to fix door and window, but not leak in roof. Called him several times and asked him to return. He said he would and that the cowl probably needed some attention. However, never returned. That, in my opinion, is poor customer service, especially since he knew I had already been let down by a previous Rated People tradesman. Wouldn't recommend him or use him again. £200 for 2-3 hours work

After reading my rating, he sent an unpleasant message insulting the quality of my conservatory & said that it needed replacing. Nice! That didn't stop him trying to sell me an expensive roof. I have waited over six months for him to return. Kept saying he needed a dry spell. Have had plenty of dry spells in that time so he clearly has no intention of returning.

The conservatory is very poor quality and I was the second person to try and solve the problem. 3 hours with two men and the leak did stop but returned. Customer was told I will return when the summer came as the top of the roof needs removing. We did more than was required but its never enough for some people. When a product has passed its best you have to change it!

And as for the £200. We repaired french doors that were hanging off. We repaired windows that were leaking. We fitted a £130 high security lock and sealed the roof which all took 3 hours. So we did far more than most would do and evan offered to return when the weather was better to try and help this person. Evan when I read the false information I still said I would return.
