Bathroom Installation
Every member of the team involved in the bathroom installation - plumber, tiler, carpenter, electrician, floorer - was, from start to finish, professional, highly skilled, reliable, clean and friendly. The work took longer than I expected but I am delighted with the result: top quality at a competitive price. I am planning similar work on my kitchen and shall certainly be inviting Root Construction to give me a quote.
Home Improvements
After initial hitch over starting date, we were extremely pleased with the work done and the pleasantness of the tradesmen. Most importantly, for me, was the fact that they did not arrive with a huge radio and blast out noise!! OK, that has no bearing on the work done, but that was impeccable. Would recommend and would use again if the situation arose.

Great job done by Michael and the Root Guys. Work to a very high standard, they are definitely perfectionists. Easy to deal with, friendly, helpful and good value. There were various elements of extra work due to the age of the property but these were agreed quickly and easily, often with helpful suggestions on how to maximise the benefits. Would definitely use again!
House Extension
Came out to quote but then went unresponsive and never provided a quote for the work. When prompted it showed as read but still no response. Could have very easily rejected the work and I would have accepted that but to not respond is pretty poor.

Floor Tiling
The tiler who came was very professional and had an incredible eye for detail. The job took a little longer than expected but this was due to all of the bathroom hardware already being in place (the house was a new build), making cutting the tiles slightly more challenging. But I was very impressed with his effort to make each tile fit as well as possible and didn't cut corners by using grouting to fill in gaps from irregular tile placement.
