Essential elements included in quote request ignored and charged as extra.Paintwork on window not completed, and now inaccessible so can't be remedied.Crack in marble window sill not fixed.Boss actually told me the marble experts did not want to let him install the piece of marble as it was (two pieces stuck together) but he thought it would do.Work started six weeks ago, still not finished and now no reply to calls or texts. Overall extremely disappointing, and I would definitely not recommend.

Thanks for taking the time to rate us. Of course I am really surprised to hear that you are so disappointed with the work that you would 'definitely' not recommend us, especially since we had been speaking with you by text and over the phone to arrange to finish whatever is outstanding. It has been made extra difficult because you cannot take time off work during the day so we have no way to access and complete the work

To say elements were ignored and charged as extra does not make sense. You wanted the window frame changed and we changed it; you wanted an extractor fan put in the window and we did that. The tiling round the bath was replaced with granite stone. You told us that you were not able to use the shower because of water flooding and we fixed that for you. So to say that 'essential elements' in your request were ignored and charged as extra is simply not true because all the work you asked for was completed.

The crack in the stone is not fixed because we have not had the opportunity to fix it because you are never home. Also it is important to note that the crack was not there when we originally installed so this is something that was obviously done by you after installation but most important if we cannot have access to the property then how can you expect us to fix it?

We did not say that 'marble experts did not want us to install the marble'. We suggested using stone because it looks better and solves your problem. You are confused because we said sometimes we use a mitre finish but to save time this was not necessary because of how the stone was to be used. Stonework is technical and your comments indicate ignorance about technical aspects we cannot expect you to understand since you are not qualified stone mason.
