CBC is solely run by Duncan McNicol with over 40 years of building knowledge and experience having worked on projects ranging from Olympic swimming pools, tropical steam rooms, Alaskan ice pods, Tibetan saunas, kitchen and bathroom renovations to home building and much more. Duncan is a member of both the Scottish Timber Trades Teaching Association and The Tile Association. CBC are also certified Pro installers for the whole product range of Composite Prime the foremost supplier of ethically produced decking, cladding, waterproof vinyl laminate flooring, and external balustrading. CBC also provide an energy saving grouting system along with their specialist tiling services.

It was my pleasure to help alter, build and adapt kitchen to your exact requirements. Thank you. The job above grew arms and legs until well over £20k, also needing building warrant, and architect they commissioned didn't understand their impatient nature. My kitchen design consultant refused to go back as they were wasting his time. The day after Getting plans from them I supplied a firm quote and found they had left the first feedback. I immediately contacted another contractor on their behalf. WARN

I can only rate as I find. After 6 weeks I am still waiting for the job to start. 4 of those weeks were waiting on the architect to submit drawings. There is a lack of explanations and communication. If you don't mind being at the bottom of the pile, and your not in a hurry, then I suppose this builder is ok. However, other builders will do the work in a shorter time and give you a clear idea of how long you will be waiting before they start. I have not even been told how long this job will take.

This builder has failed to honour his contract and has cancelled. What a waste of time.

Rating was left the morning after quote was given which was based on clients architect spec. We gave the client the opportunity to cancel contract as we considered their expectations unreasonable. Thankfully they cancelled from their end.
