Friendly and professional service. Not having recommendations of tradesmen is hard. 'Rated People' allowed me to find David from DBF Handyman and Building Services. David has been nothing but superb. Friendly and helpful. Taking his time to allow us to explain what we wanted and then for him to explain how he would do it. All the work carried out by him is of the highest standard. David even assisted and advised on other works because he is a decent honest man. Will certainly use again. Thank you.
Slate & Tiled Roof
David is very polite and regards his work in an up beat fashion - his communication is good. David repaired my roofs and gave me 12 months guarantee for the work carried out - great. We have had some mild weather since the repair. One of the roofs still has damp coming through however, but the others are fine. I will update this review once it has been fixed.
Guttering and Rainwater Pipe
Reasurred me that I would'nt need to be on site as photos of before and after would be taken. No photos of afterwards were sent over,and there was no response when I asked for them. Also originally asked for another quote before the work was completed which David said he would send but never did.
Leadwork
I would highly recommend DBF handyman and building services. He did an excellent job and was polite and tidy too. Will use again if needed.
Guttering and Rainwater Pipe
David emailed me straight away when I posted my job. He is efficient,friendly and honest and will even FaceTime with progress if you are a landlord like me living miles away from where the job is! He will also advise on issues he may come across whilst doing the job,which again is helpful as a landlord. Highly recommended.
