Darren provided practical solutions to an unusual build, and a proper estimate. As the work was about to start the spec' changed a few times, and Darren was helpful with that. We agreed a new price and signed a straightforward agreement. Security was never an issue - we had no issue with giving Darren keys and access. He turned up when he said he would and always went through the issues of the day and the progress of the day on site and on the phone. The project has worked out really well, and it has been a very good working relationship. We have no hesitation in recommending Darren - he was helpful throughout, including managing the occassional curved ball. He runs work from a joinery led perspective, and has a wide range of understanding about the other trades and what should happen when. A pleasure to work with!

I chose dnm from the 3 estimates as Darren was the builder most concerned with the impact on the structure of the renovations I wanted. He had a polite,confident and reassuring manner. The end result was perfect so I asked Darren to renovate the bathroom,build wardrobes,laminate floors and replace doors. Darren did all the work himself (electrics,plumbing, carpentry,tiling )apart from the plastering which was done perfectly by Lou the plasterer. Darren turned out to be the right choice as the end results are beautiful. His workmanship is perfect and I have had no subsequent problems with any aspect of the work. Darren proved himself trustworthy and could be left alone in the house to work. He is personable,approachable and appropriate. It is comfortable in the house with him as he just gets on with his work and respects privacy. He is good with dogs and does not mind being left alone with them. Darren is also a clean and tidy craftsman. I would recommend dnm
