Dynamo were really professional; they responded to my job request quickly, we agreed a time and what they could do in the first hour and how much it would cost (£45) and that they would let me know if it would cost more than this ASAP. The tradesman turned up on the dot, he was polite and very quick to identify the fault as he had all the right gear. He was very careful in lifting the floorboards and explained everything he was doing and needed to do next (all without waking the baby!). He tidied up really well and the job got sorted so i am very happy. My only niggle is that, after agreeing on the phone with the manager that the job would take two hours, the total hourly price quoted was not inclusive of VAT. I never understand why people don't include it in a price - even if you can reclaim VAT you have to pay it at point of service so it is misleading in my view. The overal cost was £90+VAT for 2 hours, so £108 all in. If you compare this to a day rate for a spark or other tradesman it starts to look quite high. However, I should have confirmed this on the phone but I would like to see them say so up front, not when the job was half way through. I would end by saying that we needed the work doing ASAP and it was carried out to the highest standard. I would recommend them to anyone and use them again myself.
