Eley Plastering completed our full home renovations by plastering all internal walls in our 5 bedroom home. Followed by returning and rendered the front and back to finish. Sadly, unreliable....didnt turn up or call and when he did arrive the excuses were mixed! Sub contracted it to someone else who was somewhat unsavoury. Job took 3 times longer and cost much more than expected or estimated. Standard of work leaves a lot to be desired with numerous cracks in plaster work which needs to be re done. Would not recommend

  2 builders I know personally were at this job previous and both walked and warned me not to take it on due to the customer. I took the job and done all that was asked and more. The customer text almost every night thanking me for the work that had been completed during the day. Though nothing could be done to meet her constantly changing requirements. I finished all the work that was quoted for originally and some extras before leaving. I refused to return to which she then left this review.

  The job was not sub contracted to someone else. My partner took on the extras as the new customer requirements would have meant me delaying other jobs booked in. Im sure people can appreciate that extra work means extra cost and extra time.

  Both comments are untrue and were left after Eley offered to do whatever work I wanted if I retracted my original comment. Copy of apology from 'partner' arranged via Police is available.

Perfect job. Come round at short notice to fit with my hectic schedule and didn't stop until the job was done. Cannot fault Rob or the work. My home was left tidy and clean. Very impressed and have already booked him in to plaster 4 full rooms in my home and have passed his contact on to friends. Would recommend this man to anyone
