I employed George to lay 25 sq meters of tiles. I can only describe George as a poor tradesman. Not only did he make many rookie mistakes like only sealed the tiles once, got the sq footage wrong, got wrong the fact the thickness of the tiles would mean the dishwasher and washing machine would no longer fit under the worktops (he was asked if this would be the case) was always late and did not turn up on many occasions and tried to claim extra money at every opportunity .

  if I'm poor I do not think your problem is what you said is a big lie if I did not work well then why did you pay plus that I've held three months to work on your mistakes as possible so I worked extra plus for you and you have paid any money I'd like to tell you that I'm a professional in the work that I do and I'm sorry to hear it from you with respect

  George, your work is below what is expected and in fact you have cost me well £1000 of other additional charges due to your lack of planning, detail and not finishing the work. The dates changed due to other work that needed doing. The quote you provided was 30% more than everybody else's as you sold yourself as an expert but in fact you were not as I found out to my cost. The fact you did not seal the tiles before you started work just confirms that you have no idea.

  actually have had 29 sq meter of sandstone money we received from you was 1,100 pounds per square meter comes with 29.7 pounds I have seal the tiles protection held by working for 3 months plus you have not paid for the extra work that I did for you I'd like to ask if you have paid for the work that I did if it was not good thank you

  George. If you look at the description in my first posting it clearly says 28 sq meters. We added another meter so we had enough tiles. When you advised on the tiles you said we had enough. In fact I had to order another 12 tiles to the order just confirms how you get this wrong. In fact you got everything wrong including all of the supplies like grout and adhesive and I have 80k's of the stuff left left over. I could go on.

George did a great job on the tiling and decoration. The tiles were a difficult style but he persevered and got an excellent result. I have since used him on other projects.
