Regency may have gone out of business. We were pressured to spend £4K+ for roof repairs during recent storms, but after four weeks, the job is still unfinished. The scaffolding company is now refusing to remove the scaffold until paid by Alan, causing a safety hazard for our kids. We’ve received no confirmation or photos that the roof is fixed, despite full payment. Alan isn't answering calls, and WhatsApp messages are unread. We're left in the dark about our roof and the company's status. Very disappointed

One month later and still no response or updates from Alan, causing significant issues with the scaffolding company, who refuse to take down the scaffold until paid by Alan. Must have called him over 30 times now, will be getting Trading Standards involved.

Another quick update as unfortunately two months after contracting Regency Roofing and Park Homes our roof is still leaking and we are now forced to hire someone else to come and fix the original job. Please avoid Alan at all costs!

I see Alan has created a new limited company - ACL Roofing, incorporated 6 November 2024. Same registered address as Regency Roofing and Park Homes Ltd. Read my previous reviews and avoid at all costs.

Regency Roofing contacted me soon after the job was posted and arrived at my home an hour later as promised. The problem was inspected thoroughly with several faults pointed out to me, and a repair was proposed, agreed, and immediately completed. The repair has been satisfactory so far with no further leaks despite some heavy rain. However, the price asked was to my mind very high for the amount of work involved, even for an emergency repair. That is why my rating is 4 star rather than 5 star.
