House Extension
We've all heard about those builders that start a job and then disappear leaving it half done, never to return. Well Tom is definitely NOT one of those. He and his very friendly team always worked hard, were flexible around our needs and even did some weekends to ensure the build finished as close to the agreed finish date as possible. No project is without its hiccups, but Tom and his crew were incredibly solution focussed. If you want someone that cares about their work, give Tom and A1 Builders a call.
Stone / Concrete Paving
Can't praise enough Tom and his crew, everything worked well despite this being a big project. Communication was great, arriving on time was good, and the price was reasonable. The project ended before the last date which is great. Tom gave very useful info along the way and the quality of the work is very high so we are happy bunnies. Highly recommended!
Groundwork / Foundations
Tom and his team arrived as they said they would and got stuck in right away and did not stop on the first day. The build progressed nicely then bad weather halted things but resumed as soon as the weather cleared. End result is the steps are built to perfection just the mortar has suffered from constant rain but that is not Tom's fault. A re-point will address this without problem. I have asked Tom to do some other smaller jobs for me and we are waiting until the New Year to commence.
Stone / Concrete Paving
Superb job. Tom turned up on time to quote and then again to actually complete the work despite the really bad storms. The patio has been professionally laid and to a great standard and I'm really pleased. Thank you Tom!
