Flat Pack Furniture Assembly
Graham contacted me for the job of putting together a large solid oak wardrobe. He came round to assess the job and I asked him to quote me for a few other odd jobs. He arrange a day to come and said he would be there at 9am. At 10.30am on the day of question he told me by text he could not come as his dog had died. I tried to contact him on numerous occasions following this and just received frustrating cryptic texts that made no sense I eventually gave up.
Wooden Doors - Internal
Didn't turn up at the agreed time despite waiting in all day for him and not letting me know. Claimed to be ill. One of his references also said he turned up late as he was ill. Went with someone else as I needed someone reliable.

Unfortunately I cannot recommend gmc joiner as they never even came back with a quote. And despite many attempts to contact them, they simply varnished..so I had to find someone else to do the job.
Wooden Doors - Internal
Completed work to a high standard, working around our needs in the house. When there were problems with what we wanted doing (because like most old houses, it's not got 2 square walls in it) he explained the options to us and offered advice, making sure we knew what the best course of action was. Worked quickly, fitting 2 doors, architrave on 2 door frames and doing 20m of skirting boards in 2 days. Cleaned up after himself and left the rooms very tidy and clean. Would heartily recommend.
