Regretably, and I will accept blame as only the wife was present. But we had requested turf removing and the area gug over. Wrong size and rotovated to take out the grass only. I have spent saturday digging over the area and creating the correct size. I personnally will not use again

  sorry to hear you were not happy,i did ask you after i done the first bed if you were happy and you said yes and after i had finished the job you said you were happy, if you had said something while i was there i would of done what you wanted no problem if you were not happy, from my part maybe i should had rotovated a bit deeper,i did say i would be rotovaing the area and not digging it and you seemed fine with that again im sorry and i will return the money if thats what you would like me to.

  Mike, my fault for misunderstanding. Job was 'Area currently turfed. requirement is to remove turf and dig over the soil ready for planting.' I misunderstood that rotorvating was just to remove the turf and that it would not be dug over or equivelent. I am happy to pay for work, next time i will be more precise regards David

  Mike, I cannot let your misleading reply stand. When you say maybe you should have rotovated deeper - people may think you did rotovate and I am picky. Mike you 'rotovated' ONE INCH just enough to remove the turf so please do not give the impression of having rotovated. Removing the turf by a rotovating machine is more accurate and why you think a statement (against job spec) of no digging but rotovation I should have employed another tradesman to dig is beyond me. I need to clarify - ONE INCH does not equate to rotovation. Measure if you want

Good job - quick and efficient. Value for money but just waiting to see if grass makes it through the hot spell as parts are struggling a bit.

Mike was pleasant, courteous, came as planned and finished the job as plnned. I am very pleased with my new lawn, even though the grass will take several weeks to bed in (is that the phrase?) due to being laid so late in the season. I'll have a better idea of the 'finished product' once the grass starts to grow. Would not hesitate to recommend Mike Turner.
