Griggs Home Improvements was established in 2019 starting with just myself and a labourer. Since then we have come a long way with another 2 full time tradesmen.
Between the 4 of us at Griggs Home Improvements we carry -
- NVQ Level 3 carpentry.
- NVQ level 3 Bricklaying.
- CITB Health & Safety awareness.
- Construction management diploma.
- Total of over 35 years building experience between us.
Griggs Home Improvements mainly specialise in Extensions, Loft conversions and refurbishments from start to finish.
We cover everything from pouring footings to plastering the walls. We have our own dedicated Electricians and Plumbers who always deliver an amazing job for us when needed.

Chimney Building / Repair
Danny and his team did a great job. Job finished on time and as quoted. Would definitely recommend
Wooden Doors - Internal
Danny and Rory did a good job on fitting the new doors (+ironmongery) to existing frames., and accommodated minor changes, such and new door stops and cutting in new timber to latch areas due to the old being oversized. Using Griggs again now on another job we need doing.
Home Improvements
Nice team of guys. Good price. 1 or 2 slight niggles but nothing to make a big fuss about. Kept informed from before start to after finished, so follow up was good. Overall will get them back to price for 2 other jobs that are pending, so that should say it all. Would have marked as 4.5 stars but that didn't seem to allow that input on the app?
Floor Tiling
We hired Danny to install a utility room for us. He was punctual, easy to work with and kept to the timing and cost he quoted. Given the high level of service he provided we subsequently hired him to reinforce an old garden fence. Another top, punctual job on budget.
Wooden Doors - Internal
To be honest nice guys but if you are looking for someone to complete a relative small job in the course of 2/3 days then these guys not for you.as they consider this job as a “fill in job” while they are off to do someone else’s work. I can still find a fault with it. Sorry
