Quick response and diagnosis of the problem. completed the replacement boiler fixing within a day and returned to sort out difficulties I had with the thermostat, when requested, very promptly.

Despite knowing the boiler type and having discussed symptoms, many turns up poorly prepared and needs Baxi helpline to diagnose fault that I'd advised him of already. Fits a part i don't need. Doesnt have parts I do.

I went out of my way to take a diverter valve diaphragm kit and hot water thermister based on the info given to me over the phone and to visit out of hours to suit the customer

they did not have manufacturers intruction book so used the manufacturers tech line too confirm the fault which is something all gas fitters would do. got him a price and offerred to return the following day at my cost to fit a complete diverter valve as the service kit would not do it.

i fitted the thermister and only charged for the call out as he didnt want to spend the £170 on a new valve. i was more than reasonable and couldnt have done any more under the circumstances.

I'm sorry I hadn't got the technical manual for a boiler thats 9 years old and I aquired with the house 1 year ago. Lucky I had my laptop on standby to download it I guess! But even then, the fault flowchart did not seem to suit, hence the Baxi helpline. Regarding the charge, you very specifically told me you'd charged me for call out AND part. By the way, it was pretty clear from the Baxi helpline that the thermistor was not required.

And no, the diverter service kit (diaphram etc) would not have fixed it. The diverter valve was not working properly but the diaphram was not the cure. If you'd have had a diverter valve with you, as requested on the phone in the first call, then you'd have sold it too me. My reluctance to go for a £170 replacement valve was not just cost, but also my lack of confidence in you as an engineer when you'd not diagnosed anything correctly so far. By the way, replacement valves from the web are £65-80, NOT £170.

Turned up when he said he would. Went for the most inexpensive solution first, which worked. Didn't try to do anything that didn't need doing . Explained everything as he went along. I was very happy with the service. Would use again

Replaced old boiler with combi boiler system and fitted new radiator. Arrived on time and left home clean and tidy at the end of each day. Would use them again.

i joined this site hoping to find a plumber who will do the job arrive when he says and COMMUNICATE but this guy has been to assess and give a prive and recieve the go ahead from myself and then disappeared no contact i have rang and he said on a tuesday the parts would arrive friday but he didnt say which friday and we are still waiting so all i want is a plumber who can text or call and turn up and do the job and leave so i will not be using ratedpeople site again and wont bother rating hanford heating

this is a lie.he is an agent for a landlord who would not accept my advice that the boiler is beyond economical repair and would not pay upfront for parts as i couldnt guarantee the repairs would be succesful
