Holloway Decorating & Build LTD is a local tiler situated in Reading. We have 10 years? experience and our team of professional tile fitters are happy to take on all jobs of any size.
Tiles are often the finishing touch to a room, adding an accent to bathroom and kitchen walls or floors throughout a home. Whilst many homeowners consider tiles to be purely decorative they also serve a purpose. Tiled floors need to be durable and evenly laid to prevent tripping and kitchen and bathroom tiles must be water tight and help to protect the walls. Our tile fitters are skilled in their trade. A large job done to a meticulously high standard, even if it took a little longer than envisaged. The team had skills to do a variety of related works. Not the cheapest but you pay for what you get. Overall extremely pleased and would definitely use again

Andrei, who speaks little or no English, worked on it throughout and did a great job, with specialists doing plumbing and electrics. But it all took much longer than we (or I think Ted) expected. The invoiced amount was 25% more than the estimate which we were not told about at the time. In the end it felt rushed. We were left to clear up paint and marks on the new wood floor and skirting board. Communication was difficult - unexpected absences. More care could have been taken to protect our floor.

Responded to my detailed advert late in the evening to make an appointment to quote. Despite our very obvious request for costs to be below £1000 for the project, they informed us they charge £500 per room and then they cancelled the appointment, They would do well to read listings before responding to them and wasting people's time. I never got to see their quality of work, hence three stars. I'm sure they're very good but I'm very let down by their communication.

Internal Painting & Decorating
Ted is an impressive and professional guy able to offer good advice and point you in the right direction when it comes to materials etc. Though we originally engaged Ted and his team for a painting service, for the whole house, we ended up using him for a new floor downstairs. The quality of work was excellent, our only niggle was that works overran by a day or so. We have other worked planned in the next few months and will be instructing him to undertake this too.
