He was reliable BUT months after he finished the job it became apparent that: 1. he poured plaster down our outside drains which are now blocked because of him 2. He failed to remove the architraves from around the doors before plastering. Now the skirting board in our hall way sticks out because the wall inside the architrave is too thick. He also failed to take simple steps to protect out electrical points which are now all plastered into the wall and had to be removed and replaced.

The job involved laying a new laminate floor over very uneven joists; insulating the walls, floor and ceilings; plaster boarding the walls, sloping ceiling and flat ceiling; building cupboards; installing stair railings; electrical rewiring and second fix (sockets new light fixtures), and decoration. I am very happy with the quality of the work and how well Eddy worked with me and my budget constraints. His carpentry skills are reflected in my finished floor that is beautifully laid even though the existing joists were badly warped both length-wise and width-wise. His skilled workmanship is also reflected in my walls and ceiling. My budget did not allow for plastering over the plasterboards and yet, even without plaster, I could not be more pleased with the result. My new loft room is a joy. Overall, Eddy is customer oriented, hard working, highly skilled, problem-solving, conscientious, trustworthy, and pleasant. Highly recommend.
