I was struggling to find a joiner that would fit pre purchased new internal doors without supplying them. Josh answered the enquiry and true to his word arrived on time and set to work. I was pleased with both the cost and workmanship of the work he did over the two days. I would definitely recommend Josh to anyone looking to fit internal doors or indeed other carpentry requirements.

The reason I have only given one star he does not know his trade, I asked him to put up 5 doors up he had cut and planed the doors to death there were gaps on all 5 he had used the screws that where ment for the door handles on the hinges they were that bad I have replaced the doors and got someone else to put the doors on so for this I give him zero rating

I explained to the customer, there wasn’t enough screws supplied to do the job therefore had to use other screws. This screws are better than the ones supplied with hinges. I also explained to the customer that I asked him to mark the door for me so that I could get an accurate plane on the head as the door frame was sloping. I planed his line off and he wasn’t happy. I explained to the customer that the bottom of HOLLOW doors are left without wood as 50mm needed to be cut off. I also discounted the costs.

Don't believe a word he says, he left my house in a terrible state he sawed and chiseled the doors upstairs, with my Dad being a Joiner god rest his soul he told me you always take the door out and adjust he didn't

Interesting because I’m sure I passed Mr Wentworth on the stairs quite a few times with the doors? I offered to clean up and was told no it’s fine. And I had to chisel the hinges on the old door frame due to previous extensive screw holes in current hinge placements. And I also had to drill the handles whilst they’re hung? I also planed and chiselled the doors out in the front as agreed with Mr Wentworth due to the extensive amounts of dust created when planing.

I had previously advised new door frames but Mr Wentworth was adamant he was “a Joiner” therefore knew that it was required and he had the more knowledge just wanted doors hanging. Have hung a lot of doors over the past few years and all have been spot on, just this one seemed to be problematic. Mainly with the customer.

Joshua was very willing to go the extra mile to do a good job. He went out of his way to do more than was initially agreed and I was completely satisfied with the work done and the price agreed. I would reccomend him to others and would definitely ask him to do more work for me in the future.
