Duncan removed a load-bearing wall from my flat and fitted supporting beams. He also arranged scaffolding and coordinated a plumber to run new drainage to allow the relocation of the kitchen and bathroom. I was really pleased with all aspects of the work which was completed efficiently and to a high standard. Duncan is approachable, honest and trustworthy, he always seemed happy to give me his time to discuss the job and kept me well informed on progress. Nothing was too much trouble. Highly recommended.

I needed a wall removed quickly and to the correct standards. One builder suggested a few beams of wood would suffice but I had my reservations. JDF organised a structural engineer to visit and do a proper design of the beams needed. JDF then installed steel beams as per the engineer's drawings. The job was completed in less than a week and at a price less than the builder who suggested wooden beams. I have other jobs that I want to do in my house and there's only one builder I will contact. JDF.

Hired Duncan to remove a supporting wall and install steel beams. He did an excellent job, the wall that was there was not strong enough on 1 end to support the beam, Duncan was able to build up a new support, significantly reducing delay. Always on time, cleaned up and solved any problems. We really appreciate the work, he definitely went the extra mile to get this job finished on time and budget. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending him, our 2nd refurbishment and he is 1 of the best tradesmen we've had.
