Really happy with the job
Garage Conversion
I was very pleased with the garage conversion. The brickwork was perfectly matched and the plastering was of good quality. The house looks great form the outside. An internal wall and some electrical and plumbing were also done well. There was a delay in getting the right window but this was a supply chain issue; as soon as available it was installed. I was happy that the work was surveyed and accredited.
Stone / Concrete Paving
Jake is professional, turned up when he said he would, explained what he was going to do and did an excellent job in laying hardstanding for a shed and extending the patio area. I'm having him back in a few weeks to do further work at the front of the house. I can certainly recommend him.
Home Improvements
Jake listened clearly to our brief and we liked his engaging and professional manner immediately. We were so impressed with this relatively small (5 day) job to remove an archway and install a steel, we hired him to undertake an total basement refurbishment including the creation of a wet room, kitchenette, wine cellar and childrens playroom. He is trustworthy, reliable and very methodical and careful with his work. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend him for projects large and small.
Bathroom Installation
When reading reviews for Jake I was prepared to think we all get the odd bad review. I wish I had taken the advice of the other reviews now. I had a leaking shower tray the objective was “stop it form leaking”. The shower tray was left leaking more than before Jake had “fixed” it. I was £150 down and Jake was only prepared to give mobile number and although he has promised to come back and fix the job has not returned. It has cost me another £90 to get a real plumber. Texts and calls are ignored.
