Tim came round and quoted the same day as my ad was posted. He then replaced our rotten gate with a brand new one, painted well, in just a couple of days. The service was excellent, couldn't fault it.
Log Cabins / Timber Framed Building
shed/studio build, 7k approx. Tim is trustworthy and a pleasure to work with. He worked very well throughout the build. Showed up everyday at 8am. Nothing was rushed. I have worked with many builders before, and know what to look for. This was quality work, that met my high spec requirements. It looks great, inc huge roof light and a few months on there are no leaks or problems. I would certainly recommend Kowhai carpentry, and would like to work with him again.
Wooden / Metal Gates
I cannot rate him highly enough. Fantastic workmanship, courteous and absolutely reliable with timings and completion of work, incredible attention to detail and clearly takes pride in his work, very easy to work with and happy to facilitate reasonable changes and compromises. He built a wooden feather board garden fence for us which is well designed, robust and beautifully constructed. It was constructed to a very high standard. Really very pleased and highly recommended.
