Although we got quotes that were cheaper than what Gus quoted us, we decided we want him to turn our front-yard into an off-street parking. It was because of the level of expertise he showed while seeing the job before quoting (lots of references backed-up with pictures) and his knowledge of the driveway/off-street parking construction regulations completely convinced us that we were dealing with a pro. Now we definitely know we chose right. Gus talked us through the project so we had quite thorough understanding of how he was going to do this job before it all began. He patiently answered our detailed questions before and as the work progressed and we asked quite a lot to avoid even the smallest misunderstandings, as we experienced them in the past with other builders. Whenever it was impossible for him to come up with an immediate answer he always assured us that he would figure out something that we'd like (which he did). For example, his positive attitude was invaluable when it came to final touches for which we had some specific requirements. It also must be mentioned that much of Gus's work was to organize tools and other builders (who were real pros too, by the way) and he did a marvelous job at that as well - the whole work was completed in 3 and half days(!) and there was no trace of any construction around our property apart from the paved parking place itself. We are very pleased with the final result and we would definitely recommend Gus to anyone who asked.
