Was informed Chimney leaked and needed work. Turns out it is fine. Informed Fireplace not DEFRA approved, it is. Chimney swept though, room clean, punctual, and quick to reply to calls/text.

  I went to sweep chimney as instructed , did so and then did a smoke test which then showed that chimney was not sound ,

  Stove was a tiger stove 6kw multi fuel stove which is not defra approved only the 5kw wood burner is approved

I would have no hesitation recommending Mark. He installed a flue liner to my very old cottage and I expected at least some debris when I returned from work - the job was carried out exactly as described, Mark came to survey the work as agreed and turned up on the day to carry out the work. I came home from work the house was spotless and my fire is working better than it ever did. I would rate him very highly and have already recommended him to a neighbour. Thanks Mark.
