A lesson learnt. Edi & Marcos work together and have finisher their work after 4 weeks of constant deliberation from our end. A huge delay considering they had promised to complete work in 4 days. How can someone mis-judge their time scales by more than 400%? Though their quote was a little more expensive than the nearest we still went with them since they were more creative and flexible. The final product ultimately did come out well and that is more to my credit than to theirs since I was quite particular about what I had wanted. One of the biggest challenges that I had was around cost since they had assumed wrong estimates for the job and they were trying to cut costs and make do for the days lost by firstly, taking another job simultaneously and secondly, by trying to cut corners in material. Completely unacceptable. Ultimately I got it done after a lot of phone calls and f2f talk. Positives: Positive approach to work, ready to get it done Negative: Completely ill planned project (project planning skills) including inability to estimate cost. Overall I would recommend them, but proper deliberation in the initial stages and should have enough patience and time to monitor. Rated People should have a criteria to allow quotes to be placed only by tradesmen who have a minimum threshold of rating/comments. Hope this helps.
Bathroom Installation
Work finished to an excellent standard at a reasonable price, couldn't ask for more and would certainly recommend Mr Maintenance for anyone on this site.
