Slate & Tiled Roof
I have concerns about the validity of this contractor; I have been advised by an independent contractor that the work is of a poor standard and will need to be rectified. I also have evidence of dishonesty. He told me he needed extra money to replace wooden battens but refused to provide a receipt. Ii have security cameras and it was clear that he had not delivered them. The following day he said that his contractors had 'cut off the rotten bits' and used concrete. I am taking legal action.
Excellent work very fast and very efficient. Would highly recommend them.
Slate & Tiled Roof
Said he would give me a free quote. 5 minutes later advised it was fixed (one loose roof tile) and it costs £400. Refused to pay that much as there’s no way I would pay £400 for a slipped roof tile had they quoted me rather than fixed it. Apparently I ticked I was willing to pay < £500 on this app. ONLY because that was the lowest option. Feel ripped off tbh.

Hi Rob, apologies that you felt ripped off. We didn’t do the job without your permission we gave you a price before we started. It was up to you to go ahead or not 400 is not a lot of money for a tower, put some felt and reposition a tile and give you a 10 year guarantee on it, I do apologise if you felt that way about it, but that was not our intention
