Wooden Doors - Internal
Turned up on time as agreed. We were dissapointed with the standard of work and his skill did not justify the cost. We employed this person expecting a professional job but we were sadly dissapointed. Work carried out to average DIY.

Trouble started straight away on arrival at home as they had no hinges as stated in ad,time spent fetching hinges.All doors were left working and the customer said she was happy with the job done.Later on got a phone call threating to cancel payment so went back on a sunday morning to try and rectify the problems only just to be moaned at except for two minutes to ajust a lock.Previous ratings all excellent so very dissapointed with this rating but just could not please customer.

No hinges was our error.paid rvg who reluctantly went to get from local wicks.Brought excessive amount of hinges & screws & took the rest with him.Faults inc,door handle not straight,screws missing from hinges,doors overplaned on top & bottom,hinge not set in rebate,hinges creaking,doors not closing correctly.Claimed he was to busy to return for snagging,only returned due to cheque payment.Untidy,unfriendly worker who dumped waste materials in a flowerbed rather than use a bin.Odd job man standard of work

Clarification on my last reply.Rvg said he was to busy to return for snagging.I had to mention payment via cheque would be witheld untill he returned.We did not say we were happy with the work and he did not ask before departing.Finally he is charging joiners rates for a job but the end result is not of a skilled carpenters standard.I cannot reccomend this tradesman in any way whatsoever.

As stated before all doors were fitted and working properly .I hope people can read all the excellent previous ratings,but there was no pleasing this customer.

Replies to his workmanship seem repetitive.As previously stated work simply not of a skilled carpentry level.
