Excellent service from the very beginning. Shaun visited the flat, discussed with us the work to be done. He provided us with a clear, concise and detailed overview of the process and a price quoted. Once confirmed, he returned on our agreed date, carried out all work to an excellent standard and the price quoted at outset was duly paid. Shaun is an extremely friendly and sociable person with an undoubted talent and professional attention to detail. We will be more than happy to recommend and utilise again.

The jobs that were completed were done to a relatively good standard. However, there are a few small imperfections on the walls. The full work request was not completed and due to inadequate protection around the stairs etc, this now needs repainted. It was discussed with Shaun but he has failed to turn up to complete the necessary remedial work and completion of the entire work spec. Disappointing outcome.

  Hi brinda thanks for reaching out , I apologise that you weren’t happy with the works completed , although all works were completed before leaving this job , skim+paint 2 areas of ceilings and 2 coat all walls in hallway and porch , I quoted a very low price and then reduced again at your request, if you are unhappy please contact me as your review is an inaccurate reflection of the situation as protection was provided and not paid for, and banister was already needing repainted before I started, thanks

  And the imperfections were cause by the retail paint which I insisted was sub par quality and would’ve provided better quality paint for similar price

  Thanks for your response, however, I disagree with your comments. The only part that was protected on the stairs were the rails. The “beading” covering the strings were not protected and is now covered with paint spray from your painting. I assumed you didn’t protect it as we had discussed repainting the whole stairs. But you have not been back to do this. Secondly, you were aware the lounge needed painted and it was in the original request of works. You even suggested painting it hence why I moved and…

As for the imperfections, I am referring to areas where your equipment was leaning against the wall in the porch leaving marks and damage to the skirting from skimming the ceiling amongst a few other issues. I tried to call to discuss this and I have photos that I can send, but you have ignored my messages and texts. I would be happy to revise your ratings once the above issues can be resolved.

Shaun is a lovely guy who painted 8 doors in my house to a high standard, He arrived on time, painted the doors to a high standard, gave advice on other work I need done, thoroughly tidied up after himself & charged a very reasonable price. He comes fully recommended so much so that he is doing more work for me.

Great job done by Shaun. The preparation of all surfaces meant a great finish to the paint job throughout. Attention to detail, great communication & assistance with choosing wall colour was just some of the positives. I’ve never used a decorator before but would highly recommend Shaun to be extremely trustworthy, skilled & reliable.
