Formed in 2011, Square Roots is an organic grounds maintenance, design and sustainable landscape company based in London.
We are specialists in soft landscaping, including native planting, wildlife planting and planting for a changing climate. We champion bio-diversity and urban greening.
We have won a gold award for design and also 'Best Communal Garden in Islington' for our grounds maintenance services. We use low noise-level battery powered tools wherever possible and all our staff are friendly, enthusiastic and knowledgeable. We never use synthetic fertilisers or harmful chemicals, which are detrimental to people and cause harm to our environment.

Clare and Ashley are fantastic - flexible with their booking, always on time, high-quality work from their team always clearing away the trimmings. They have also been very helpful in splitting the invoice so that the landlord is billed directly for the front garden and the tenants are billed for the back gardens. I would recommend them to anyone!

Square Roots did a great job of tidying and cheering up the garden - a few weeks after the visit I am still taking great pleasure in how much better it looks. I thought the work was excellent value, the only unexpected cost was some additional plants which I totally agreed to having but without discussing the price - so kind of my fault for not asking!
