Responsibilities:

• Preparing sites for painting, including colour matching, surface preparation, and applying paint or other finishes to walls, ceilings, furniture, and various surfaces.
• Collaborating with clients to ensure work is completed according to their specifications.
• Measuring work areas to accurately estimate time and materials required for each project.
• Protecting surrounding areas by covering fixtures and furniture to prevent damage.
• Preparing surfaces by removing old paint, filling holes and cracks, and cleaning walls.
• Selecting appropriate tools and materials to achieve the desired finish.
• Mixing and matching paints and colours to achieve the required texture and appearance.
• Applying paint, wallpaper, and other decorative finishes.
• Cleaning and maintaining painting tools and supplies, as well as reinstating fixtures and furniture upon project completion.
• Coordinating with other construction professionals, including carpenters, electricians, and plumbers, when necessary.
