To temporary roof or not?

Posted by Lucy Meredith, on
I’ve had 3 sides of my semi detached house scaffolded already. I’m having a dormer loft conversion. The roof is ready to be taken off now and I just don’t know whether to fork out a further £2500 to get the temporary roof scaffold on. Can anyone give recommendations, past experience, words of advice please? Trying to do the build on a budget. Many thanks

Hi Lucy, the company carrying out the work should really be advising you. I would always recommend a temporary roof, as the risk of weather damage is reduced and your team will be able to work through bad weather and our weather as you know isn’t very predictable. If you can find the money in your budget I would recommend. Lewis Essex roofing limited
