Leak in kitchen concrete floor

Posted by Michelle Honey, on
I lifted Vinyl flooring in my kitchen and found contact floor to be very wet I have opened up boxing that runs floor to Ceiling in corner of kitchen, this is also the main Area were floor is damp, inside boxing I found a waste pipe, heating Pipes and hot & cold water pipes. None of them are leaking above floor so leek definitely seems to be in floor. There are 5 pipes going into floor, 2 micro pipes -must be Centreal heating feed & return of radiator in hall as kitchen & lounge radiator feed & return can be seen going into boxing above floor. There is the hot and cold water pipe that feeds kitchen sink and large grey wast Pipe from the bathroom. Last there is the the mains water pipe that comes up just outside the boxing there is a stop valve / tap then main goes into boxing and T’s to upstairs (tank/ bathroom) & back down into floor Presumably to kitchen sink. I’ve tried tying off the the bullcock for a week. The water level went down by 1cm which equates to 0.66 litre over 7 days. I had thought it was the hall radiator pipes but they run diagonally across the kitchen. But there is a damp area under the floor cupboards which leads me to wonder if it’s either the hot or cold feed to the sink or the mains water in. But I’m worried it cold possibly be from the waste pipe. I’ve been told that it could still possibly be the radiator pipe because the water doesn’t always show itself where the leak is and that the water can travel to lower point What is the best way to tackle this? Should I go through the insurance? Does anyone have a ruff idea what this could cost me To find and fix if I do not Go through the insurance. Many thanks
