We needed an old gas fire to be made safe so that it can be removed from our property. Within just a couple of days of posting the request for help, George had sealed off the gas supply (and also helpfully disconnected the fire itself) all for a reasonable price. We've all heard about those builders that start a job and then disappear leaving it half done, never to return. Well Tom is definitely NOT one of those. He and his very friendly team always worked hard, were flexible around our needs and even did some weekends to ensure the build finished as close to the agreed finish date as possible. No project is without its hiccups, but Tom and his crew were incredibly solution focussed. If you want someone that cares about their work, give Tom and A1 Builders a call.

Matthew was prompt to reply, professional in his approach and ability and because of this I asked for several other jobs to be done which were diverse, not carpentry. However, they were finished to such a high standard that I would not only use him again but recommend him most highly. Ergo 5 out of 5. He has such a nice personality- goes a long way....
