I employed David McAdam of Protection Plus as a handyman. He responded to my job details when no other individuals did. He and his colleague came at the agreed time, assessed the jobs and negotiated a reasonable price for the list of small jobs I had. I enjoyed the added bonus of them being able to do the work the same day that we negotiated the price. I found them to be courteous, tidy and very efficient. I would employ them again and plan to recommend them to friends and family.

We have over 15years in the building trade. From joiners, plumbing, electricians, painters/decorators, plasterers and landscapers we have it all. Keiran did that rare thing of turning up exactly when he said he would. Tidy and friendly, and reasonably priced. He removed a glass pane from door and fitted wooden replacement before installing cat flap - looks smart and exactly what I wanted; he also installed MDF shelves in a walk in cupboard - not exactly complex, but affordable and exactly what I needed.
The job turned out to be a bit more complicated than expected and the poor man had to venture into my scarey attic. He completed that task without complaint and was a pleasure to work with. I love my clothes pulley. It is fantastic.
I am very pleased with the service recieved from Alex. He quicky provided a competitive quote and arranged to get the work done on a Saturday morning. It involved the repair of an external door and he moved other jobs around so he could get to this sooner because it affected the security of the building. The repair looks great and he has painted the door frame for us. Alex even agreed to adjusting a door closer whilst there at no extra charge. I will use McLaurin Joinery again.
